(Portland, OR)  --  Governor Kate Brown is allowing women to buy birth control medicine without a prescription.  Representative Knute Buehler sponsored the bill and said it gives women more control and reduces unplanned pregnancies.  Versions of Oregon's measure are being introduced in Colorado and Washington.
