(Portland, OR)  --  The price of a home in Oregon is skyrocketing.  According to newly-released data, the month of May saw an increase in home prices of just under eight-percent compared with a year ago.  That was better than the national average of six-point-three-percent.  Oregon's robust numbers places the state fifth in the nation for home prices.
