(Portland, OR)  --  Gay activist and Democratic fundraiser Terry Bean is trying to settle allegations of sexual misconduct with an underage boy.  The "Oregonian" says Bean has proposed a civil compromise with the alleged victim which seeks a dismissal of the sex charges.  The 66-year-old Bean and his former boyfriend are both facing charges.  Both have pleaded not-guilty.
