Brown: Session Was A Success

(Salem, OR)  --  Governor Kate Brown, who took over as Oregon's chief executive in February, says the legislative session was a success.  The governor signed a number of bills passed during the session, including a requirement for paid sick leave and legislation to increase voter registration.  Brown told KOIN-TV she hasn't decided whether to sign a measure that would allow retail marijuana sales starting October 1st.
