True-crime Author Ann Rule Dies At Age 83

(Seattle, WA)  --  Author Ann Rule is being remembered for her work in true-crime writing, including a book on serial killer Ted Bundy.  Rule was 83-years-old when she died Sunday at a Seattle-area hospital.  Her daughter, Leslie, says Rule had various health problems, including congestive heart failure.  Rule turned to crime writing in the 1960s after serving as an employee with the Seattle Police Department.
