(Portland, OR)  --  Authorities are conducting a search for an inmate who escaped from the Columbia River Correctional Institution in Northeast Portland.  Convicted burglar Danny Spillers was discovered missing early yesterday morning after a broken window was found in the kitchen.  Spillers is described as white, six feet tall, weighing 185 pounds, with red hair and hazel eyes, wearing DOC clothing.  He had been in Department of Corrections custody since June 9th.
