(Portland, OR)  --  Officials estimate that 20-thousand people participated in the annual Providence Bridge Pedal.  Yesterday's event included about 18-thousand cyclists and 17-hundred walkers making treks across the Fremont and Marquam bridges, as well as the new Tilikum Crossing.  The new span is closed once again, and won't have its official grand opening until September 12th.
