(Gresham, OR)  --  A member of the Gresham City Council is stepping down.  Michael McCormick's resignation was announced yesterday by Gresham city officials, but no other details were released.  McCormick, a retired Portland firefighter, was elected to the council in 2012.  The Gresham City Council will have 30 days to choose someone to fill his term in office, which expires in December 2016.
