Portland May Limit Pot Shop Hours Of Operation

(Portland, OR)  --  The city of Portland is considering a limit on how long marijuana dispensaries can operate each day.  There's a proposal to limit the hours for 24-hour medical-marijuana dispensaries that sell recreational pot to between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.  Officials who are developing Portland's Marijuana Policy Program say the goal is to allow marijuana businesses to operate without affecting the quality of life in neighborhoods.
