(Salem, OR)  --  The Oregon Department of Transportation says the number of traffic deaths statewide is on the rise.  The department says there have been 261 fatalities on Oregon roads so far this year, compared to 197 at this point in 2014.  Officials say that puts Oregon on track to reach 423 traffic deaths in 2015.  Nationwide, nearly 19-thousand people lost their lives in traffic crashes through the month of June.
