(Newberg, OR)  --  Newberg City Manager Jacque [[ jackie ]] Betz will get a settlement of nearly 100-thousand-dollars following her resignation.  The Newberg City Council accepted Betz's resignation last night, and agreed on a severance package that includes six months' salary, along with compensation for health-care and accrued vacation.  Newberg city officials say an investigation that was conducted after Betz suspended Police Chief Brian Casey for no apparent reason showed she allegedly had an inappropriate relationship with a police officer.
