Former Multnomah County Commissioner Dies

(Portland, OR)  --  Family members say former Multnomah County Commissioner Tanya Collier has died after dealing with health issues for several years.  Collier, who also served as a Metro councilor and Oregon Nurses Association labor negotiator, died Friday.  She was also an advocate for women's rights and marched in support of the Equal Rights Amendment.  Collier was 68 years old.
