(Seattle, WA) -- A firefighter who was critically injured when three of his fellow firefighters were killed in the Okanogan County community of Twisp last month is reported to be improving. Twenty-five-year-old Daniel Lyon of Puyallup is said to be responding well to treatment after suffering burns to 60 percent of his body. Lyon was injured after the vehicle carrying the firefighters crashed while they were battling the Okanogan Complex fires on August 19th. His physician, Doctor Tom Pham, says he expects Lyon to spend another two months at Haborview Medical Center in Seattle but eventually make a full recovery.
