Oregon's Minimum Wage Won't Rise In 2016

(Salem, OR)  --  Oregon's minimum wage will remain at nine-dollars-25-cents an hour in 2016.  State officials say the overall Consumer Price Index for Oregon rose only two-tenths of one percent for the year ending in August, not enough to trigger a cost-of-living increase.  Bills to raise Oregon's minimum wage failed to pass after being introduced in the Legislature earlier this year.
