(Portland, OR)  --  One person is dead, following a single-vehicle crash in Southeast Portland.  Police say the car slammed into a light pole at Southeast 33rd Avenue and Powell Boulevard around four o'clock yesterday afternoon.  The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.  That person's name hasn't been made public.
