(Portland, OR)  --  New figures from the U.S Census Bureau show a considerable rise in the number of commuters who travel by bicycle.  The report shows the number of bike commuters went up seven-point-two percent in 2014 from the year before.  The same report shows the number of those commuting by car also rose, from about 210-thousand in 2013 to more than 217-thousand last year.
