OR Tribes Receive More Than $3M For Wellness Programs

(Portland, OR)  --  Five of Oregon's Native American tribes are getting more than three-million dollars of federal money for public safety and wellness programs.  The money will help tribes with programs like fighting alcohol and drug abuse, victim assistance, violence against women, and community policing.  The funds are part of a 97-million dollar program to help tribes around the country.
