(Portland, OR)  --  A large earthquake is overdue to hit the West Coast.  A Portland State University tells KOIN 6 News scientists became aware of the increased risk after looking at a few factors.  Among them were geology deposits, a series of tree die-offs, and knowing the time of the last large earthquake.
