(Salem, OR)  --  Oregon legislators say the state gas tax will have to be raised in order for aging bridges to be fixed.  Lawmakers met yesterday in Salem to address the problem of bridges deteriorating across the state.  Senator Rod Monroe is among the lawmakers who told KOIN-TV that any funding package for bridge repair will require a gas-tax increase.  The state transportation department says 61 bridges in Oregon are classified as structurally deficient.
