(Gresham, OR) -- A man who's accused of crashing his car into a pedestrian in Gresham and killing her is facing multiple charges. Twenty-seven-year-old Jacob Walters appeared in court yesterday after being charged with second-degree manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, DUII, and reckless driving. The Monday crash killed 46-year-old Elizabeth Irma Kemble, who police say was in a marked crosswalk when the crash happened at the intersection of Northeast 181st Avenue and East Burnside Street in Gresham. Authorities believe Walters was smoking marijuana moments before the crash.
