Teen Convicted Of Killing Great-grandmother Gets Ten-year Sentence

(Hillsboro, OR)  --  A 19-year-old who was convicted by a Washington County jury of killing his great-grandmother is headed to prison.  Joda Cain was sentenced yesterday to ten years behind bars for first-degree manslaughter in the bludgeoning death of Jacqueline Bell.  Authorities say Cain helped his cousin carry out the beating of the victim in October 2013.  Nineteen-year-old Micus Ward is awaiting trial for aggravated murder in the case.
