(Portland, OR)  --  Oregon State Treasurer Ted Wheeler's campaign for Portland mayor is officially underway.  Wheeler, who hasn't yet filed paperwork to run for the office, hosted a party for supporters last night in Southeast Portland.  He's touting endorsements from three former Portland mayors, as well as his experience in his previous position as Multnomah County Commission chair.  Incumbent Charlie Hales responded to the endorsements by saying feathers of predecessors are likely to be ruffled when big changes are made, and that he stands by his accomplishments as mayor.
