(Portland, OR)  --  New figures show the Portland-area housing market is still strong.  The Regional Multiple Listing Service says there were nearly three-thousand pending sales in October, the highest number since October 2005.  The report says each of the past three months has shown decade-high sales numbers, and the period follows a July that set an all-time record for closed sales.
