(Gleneden Beach, OR)  --  Officials say a Lincoln City man was killed in a logging accident while working in Hancock-Nestucca Forest near Gleneden Beach.  Thirty-eight-year-old Samuel Cates was found trapped Friday in a piece of logging equipment and pronounced dead.  Cates was an employee with the Elkhorn Logging Company.  The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
