(Portland, OR) -- Thousands remain without electricity in the Portland area after yesterday's storms. Portland General Electric says about five-thousand customers are without power in Clackamas County, as are about 15-hundred in Multnomah County. High winds and heavy rains are believed to have been the primary cause of the outages, along with trees falling on power lines. Power is expected to be restored to all customers by about ten o'clock this morning.
