(Salem, OR)  --  Governor Kate Brown says Oregon will continue to welcome Syrian refugees.  The governor sent out the message via Twitter yesterday, saying the words on the Statue of Liberty apply to Oregon as they do to any other state.  Brown had declined Monday to comment on her position on accepting refugees following last week's terrorist attacks in Paris.  More than two-dozen governors say they'll do what they can to deny Syrian refugees entry into their states.
