(Amity, OR)  --  A man who worked as a traffic flagger on Highway 99W near Amity is being hospitalized after being hit by a car.  The stretch of road was shut down for several hours last night while Oregon State Police investigated.  The man is listed in serious condition at a Portland hospital.  There's no word on what caused the crash.
