Nearly 50 Cars Towed During Leaf Day

(Portland, OR)  --  Officials say nearly 50 cars were towed in Northwest Portland as city workers came through to sweep leaves from the streets.  The Bureau of Transportation says 49 cars had been towed away by 1:30 yesterday afternoon.  PBOT says rules are clearly laid out for Leaf Pickup Day, but apparently not everyone got the message.  Officials told KGW-TV that where towing takes place, "no parking" barricades are set out at least a day in advance.
