(Portland, OR)  --  Authorities say a vehicle crashed into a utility pole in Southeast Portland, causing power outages for thousands of Portland General Electric customers.  The crash happened around 5:09 yesterday morning in the area of 124th and Powell.  Power was out for about seven-thousand customers for several hours before crews brought it back on line.
