Rockslide Forces Closure Of I-5 In Cowlitz County

(Woodland, WA)  --  Drivers are urged to avoid Interstate 5 near Woodland in Cowlitz County, where a rockslide has forced that stretch of the highway to be shut down.  The Washington State Department of Transportation says the highway is blocked with about 100 cubic yards of debris at milepost 22 near Dike Road, and won't be cleared until later today.  Governor Jay Inslee has proclaimed a state of emergency throughout Washington as a result of damaging rainstorms sweeping through the state.
