(Battle Ground, WA)  --  A tornado that ripped through Southwestern Washington is the latest in a series of volatile weather events in the Pacific Northwest.  Three-dozen homes and two businesses sustained damage in Battle Ground, in what has been confirmed by the National Weather Service as an EF1 tornado.  The twister touched down around 11:15 yesterday morning.  No injuries or deaths have been reported.
