(West Linn, OR) -- Five adults and a juvenile girl, all from the Seattle area, are in custody in connection with an identity-theft operation in Oregon. West Linn police say the six are accused of using credit-card information stolen from over 100 people to buy thousands of dollars' worth of gift cards. Officials say the group used stolen credit cards to purchase gift cards at a Safeway in West Linn in November 29th, and were spotted attempting similar crimes in Oregon City. Each of the suspects is facing multiple charges, including first-degree aggravated theft, organized retail theft, and aggravated identity theft.
