Oregon Agrees To Record Settlement In Foster Parent Abuse Case

(Portland, OR)  --  Oregon is agreeing to a record settlement for wrongdoing by a state agency.  The state has resolved a federal lawsuit on behalf of nine children abused by a Salem foster father by agreeing to a record 15-million-dollar statement.  Former foster parent, James Earl Mooney, is now serving 50 years in prison.
