(Undated)  --  Oregon is in the top half of the nation in the rate of gun ownership.  With gun sales on the rise after recent mass shootings, CBS News is ranking the states with the most gun owners based on the most recent official ATF records in 2013.  It found Oregon is tied for 23rd in the nation with eleven-point-four guns for every one-thousand residents.  In the most recent figures, the state had nearly 45-thousand registered firearms.
