(Warrenton, OR)  --  A convicted sex offender in Multnomah County is facing sexual abuse charges in Warrenton.  Sidney Sean Mecham met the 16-year-old boy at a park last summer and became a family friend of the victim.  The victim told his family about the abuse after the man harassed him in December.  The alleged abuse took place in October but the boy was able to end it in late November.  Mecham was booked into Clatsop County Jail.
