Fallen Tree Leads To Closure Of NE Germantown Road

(Portland, OR)  --  Portland Fire & Rescue says parts of Northwest Germantown Road have been closed because of a fallen tree and an unrelated traffic crash.  Spokesman Terry Foster told "The Oregonian" a tree fell on the stretch between Northwest Skyline Boulevard and U.S. Highway 30, and the western stretch from Cornelius Pass Road to Skyline was closed because of a multi-vehicle wreck.  Police say Northwest Germantown Road at Skyline Boulevard is impassable, and drivers are being urged to avoid the roads if their vehicles aren't properly equipped.
