Pedestrian Hit By MAX Train Expected To Recover

(Portland, OR)  --  Officials say a pedestrian who was struck by a MAX train in Portland is expected to recover.  Authorities say the pedestrian was hit around 6:40 Saturday night in the area of Northeast 148th Avenue and Burnside.  Police say the injuries were non-life-threatening.  The collision delayed Blue Line service for about 45 minutes.
