(Portland, OR) -- The Bureau of Labor and Industries says the owners of a Portland-area bakery which denied service to a same-sex couple has paid more than 135-thousand dollars to cover a legally-binding order from the agency. A bureau spokesman told KOIN-TV that co-owner Aaron Klein made the payment yesterday, which is in addition to seven-thousand collected by the Bureau in December. Klein and his wife own Sweet Cakes by Melissa. The couple is appealing the case.
