(Portland, OR)  --  State Treasurer Ted Wheeler is officially a candidate for Portland mayor in 2016.  Wheeler filed the necessary paperwork yesterday, more than three months before the filing deadline.  Current Mayor Charlie Hales announced earlier this year he won't seek a second term in office.
