Stickers Indicate Where Pharmacists Prescribe Birth Control

(Olympia, WA)  --  A bill signed into law by Governor Jay Inslee will create signs or stickers to place in the windows of pharmacies that are able to provide birth control without a doctor visit.  Health officials say about 40 pharmacists throughout Washington can now prescribe contraceptives through collaborative drug therapy agreements.  Supporters of the measure say the stickers and signs are intended to help reduce the likelihood of unintended pregnancies.
