(Scappoose, OR)  --  Washington County authorities are investigating a crash that left a man dead in Scappoose.  Sheriff's deputies say the crash happened around 4:15 yesterday afternoon at Southwest River Road near Southwest Rosedale Road.  The driver slammed into a power pole and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His name hasn't been released.
