(Olympia, WA)  --  A bill that will allow Washington cattlemen to legally rescue their livestock from wildfires is now law.  Under the measure signed by Governor Jay Inslee, fire crews will be required to allow ranchers into wildfire areas to round up cattle and livestock as long as it doesn't interfere with firefighting operations.  Moses Lake Representative Tom Dent says he sponsored the bill to prevent livestock owners from sneaking around roadblocks or getting into conflicts with firefighters.
