Man Accused Of Shooting At Mason County Deputy Arrested In Portland

(Portland, OR)  --  A man who's accused of shooting at a Mason County, Washington sheriff's deputy during a chase is now behind bars, after being arrested in Portland.  Authorities say 27-year-old Joshua Baker was taken into custody yesterday after a brief foot pursuit.  Officials say the pursuit of Baker began after he sped off while a deputy tried to pull him over on State Route 3 in Mason County on March 31st.  Authorities say Baker shot at the deputy while being chased at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.  The deputy wasn't injured.
