(Portland, OR) -- A man who's accused of shooting at a Mason County, Washington sheriff's deputy during a chase is now behind bars, after being arrested in Portland. Authorities say 27-year-old Joshua Baker was taken into custody yesterday after a brief foot pursuit. Officials say the pursuit of Baker began after he sped off while a deputy tried to pull him over on State Route 3 in Mason County on March 31st. Authorities say Baker shot at the deputy while being chased at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. The deputy wasn't injured.
