(New York, NY) -- NBA Commissioner Adam Silver says the league "may" consider expansion after a new collective bargaining agreement with players is finalized. However, Silver told reporters that the presence of an area in Kansas City and a "shovel-ready" arena project in Seattle won't speed up a decision on whether to expand. The Seattle City Council is slated to vote on May 2nd on whether to give final approval to vacating part of Occidental Avenue for a new sports arena in Seattle's Sodo district.
