Police ID Three Involved In Deadly Beaverton Crash

(Beaverton, OR)  --  Police continue to investigate a crash that left one person dead and injured three others in Beaverton.  Authorities say 50-year-old Armando Gallegos was driving his pickup truck the wrong way while intoxicated on Highway 26 near Murray Boulevard around one o'clock yesterday morning when he crashed into an oncoming car carrying three people from Sherwood.  A passenger in the car, 21-year-old Brandon Wendell, was killed, and the three others involved in the crash were taken to hospitals.  Police say the driver of the car, 20-year-old Taylor Melger, was also intoxicated.
