(Vancouver, WA)  --  Authorities say a device that appeared to be a live grenade was found along Interstate 5 in Vancouver.  Members of a work crew spotted the device yesterday morning beside the southbound lanes near 179th Street.  Members of the Portland police bomb squad took the grenade to a safe location and destroyed it.  Officials say it's not known whether the device was live.
