(Spokane, WA)  --  Authorities say an eleven-year-old boy was Tasered by Spokane County sheriff's deputies after he refused to drop a knife he was armed with.  Officials say deputies chased the boy yesterday morning and caught up with him near an apartment complex in the area of West Hastings and North Mill Road in Spokane County.  Authorities say the eleven-year-old, who was wearing a mask, refused repeated commands to drop the knife and was Tasered and safely disarmed.  KREM-TV reports the boy was treated at the scene, then taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation.
