(Tigard, OR)  --  A 14-year-old girl is being treated for serious injuries, after being hit by a car while crossing a street in Tigard [[ TIE-gurd ]].  The crash happened yesterday afternoon on Hall Boulevard near Tigard City Hall.  Authorities say the girl and two other pedestrians activated a flashing yellow light at the crosswalk, which was engaged when the teen was hit.  Police say the driver remained at the scene and was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
