(Seattle, WA) -- A man accused of harassing Washington Congressman Jim McDermott via telephone says he's not guilty. Prosecutors say 27-year-old Jasper Bell is charged with intimidating a public servant and telephone harassment after calling the Seattle Democrat's office on May 4th and threatening to cut his tongue out. Officials say Bell made the threat because he was upset McDermott was supporting Hillary Clinton for president rather than Bernie Sanders. The prosecution says Bell made numerous threatening calls to McDermott before visiting his office that same day.
