(Salem, OR)  --  Democrat Kate Brown will face Republican Bud Pierce this fall in the race for Oregon governor.  Brown is seeking her first full term in office after she took over following the resignation of John Kitzhaber in February 2015.  She easily won last night's Democratic primary with 85-percent of the vote.  Pierce, a physician from Salem who's running for public office for the first time, won the Republican nomination with 48-percent, while 29-percent went to Lake Oswego investor Allen Alley.
